Crown Media announced today that Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark’s video on demand service, has launched on YouTube TV as an add-on option. With YouTube not carrying the slate of Hallmark channels, the new addition will give YouTube TV subscribers an option for watching Hallmark movies.
The service features a rotating collection of Hallmark movies and series. YouTube TV subscribers can now choose Hallmark Movies Now as an add-on option for $5.99/month after a 7 day free trial, the same price Hallmark charges for a standalone subscription to the service.
Hallmark Movies Now features original movies, series, and exclusive content from Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Hall of Fame, plus a selection of heartfelt Hollywood favorites. The addition of the add-on comes just in time for YouTube TV subscribers to tune in for Hallmark’s annual “Movies & Mistletoe” event featuring feel-good holiday films from Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Previously, YouTube TV launched a Sports Plus add-on that includes NFL Red Zone, along with Fox College Sports, GolTV, Fox Soccer Plus, MAVTV Motorsports Network, TVG, and Stadium for $10.99/month. The addition of Hallmark Movies Now is a good sign that YouTube TV is interested in expanding its add-on offerings, giving subscribers more options for adding content to their subscriptions.
