One of the biggest news stories was plans to add the MLB Network just in time for the start of the 2018 MLB season. The bad news is, it has not happened yet.
Since the announcement went live we have been getting a lot of questions about when MLB Network and NBA TV would be added. Sadly, we don’t know because Google has not said.
As best we can tell the MLB Network should be added to YouTube TV before the start of the MLB season.

YouTube TV also added TNT, Adult Swim, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, truTV, and Turner Classic Movies.
This makes YouTube TV a far better pick for NBA fans, for example, who need channels like TBS and NBA TV. The addition of the MLB Network and TBS makes YouTube TV a far better fit for MLB fans. Add in the regional sports networks YouTube TV has, and you suddenly have a very interesting sports service for many Americans.
