YouTube’s creator’s channel got a refreshed look this week as the platform updated the homepage on smart TVs to make finding new content and subscribing to channels more accessible.

The new look aims to offer a better streaming experience for users watching YouTube on their televisions. The layout has a more “modernized” format that lets users play a mix of relevant videos. It also makes action buttons, like subscribe, stand out more to be easier to click to help creators grow their channels. You can check out a preview of the changes in a short video posted on YouTube here.

YouTube wants to “build a living room experience for creators and viewers” that’s unique to the platform. YouTube CEO Neal Mohan said the number of top creators who get most of their views via TV screens has increased by more than 400% over the last three years. Mohan said that, on a global average, viewers watch more than 1 billion hours of YouTube content on their televisions every day. A chart by Nielsen released this month shows YouTube is the top streaming platform for the 12th month in a row.

The new layout went live this week, so now YouTube users will see the most relevant content to their viewing habits on the creator’s channel page. This format is already available to all creators. However, YouTube said the new channel homepage design might take a few weeks to appear to all audiences. The new format is available on the creator channels pages on the smart TV app and hasn’t launched for mobile devices.

The platform launched three dozen new features last October, such as a vertical menu on the YouTube smart TV app that lists the comments, video descriptions, and contains the subscribe button. It also integrated voice search options in the search bar and added larger thumbnails.
