You Can Now Watch Hulu on The Amazon Echo Show

A few weeks ago Hulu announced that they will be the very first live TV streaming service available on Amazon’s Echo Show device when the 2nd gen Echo Show launches next month. The Echo Show has had on-demand services for some time but now Hulu is bringing their live TV streaming service to Amazon’s newest Echo Show. This week Hulu officially rolled out support for the 1st and 2nd gen Echo Show. This works for both Hulu live TV and on-demand customers.

Update: Well the 1st Gen Echo Show is listed we have been unable to make it work with Hulu. Our 1st Gen Echo Show acts as if there is no Hulu account linked.

“We know that hands-free, far-field voice control is a major win for those of you who live in an Alexa household. In fact, since Hulu launched a voice enabled app on Fire TV last November, we’ve seen that Hulu viewers who use Alexa watch double the hours of content compared to viewers who use remotes, clicks and taps to tune into the content they love.” Hulu said in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News.

Hulu went on to say that “Hulu viewers will be able to watch video content on Echo Show’s 10-inch HD screen hands-free with Alexa. You’ll be able follow along in real-time with the Food Network in your kitchen as your prepare finger foods for your football viewing party; pausing and rewinding when you’ve got your hands full and need to make sure you’re getting your measurements right.”

Before you can use Hulu you need to log into your Hulu account in the Alexa app on iOS and Android. In the Alexa app on your Android or iOS device, you will be able to find the Hulu app in the settings under TV & Video.
