You Can Now Go To The Movies for Just $3.99 a Month With Sinemia

Do you love going to the movies but hate to pay full price? Sinemia, the subscription service and MoviePass rival, has cut the price of their service to just $3.99 a month.

Sinemia is the main competitor of MoviePass, the subscription service that lets you watch a movie a day for $9.99. Now Sinemia starts at $3.99 a month. Their new high-end package costs $13.99 for three tickets a month. Unlike MoviePass, Sinemia includes 3-D, 4-D, and IMAX movies.

“With the release of highly anticipated summer blockbusters, and with seasonal temperatures hitting record highs, we want to provide moviegoers a more affordable way to see must-watch films and get a break from the heat,” said Sinemia founder and CEO Rifat Oguz in a statement.

This all comes as movie theaters are struggling to compete with bigger TVs in American homes and the growing list of movies at American’s finger tips. Most movie theaters already make most of their money from the sale of popcorn, drinks, and other foods. The hope is services like this can help struggling movie theaters survive by getting more people to the theaters to buy concessions.
