Yeti Throws its Hat into the Water with Yeti+ Video ‘Streaming’ Service

So, you thought Disney+ made the biggest splash in the streaming game recently? Well, YETI might have something to say about that. Today, the outdoor lifestyle products manufacturer launched its very own free, limited-time video streaming service of – you guessed it – natural outdoor streams. They’re calling it YETI+

“Bringing the wild to consumers stuck indoors, YETI+ offers eight feeds of beautiful streams, from Hawaii to Vancouver, in high-definition,” says YETI.

The eight video feeds can be accessed via the YETI website homepage. Each one currently features daytime footage of streams across six locations in Oregon, Colorado, California and Vancouver. Some even show the streams as they appear in different seasons of the year. And they don’t stop at just the visuals – they also include audio of wind, water and all the peaceful sounds of nature.

This is just one of the creative ways that brands have thought outside the box to entertain people who are stuck inside their homes during the pandemic. YETI hopes that bringing the outdoors indoors might inject a little tranquility where needed.

A statement on the YETI+ landing page reads, “We’ll be back outside before we know it. Until then, kick back, grab a cold one, and wet your appetite for the wild with one of our streams.”
