Yahoo Is Streaming a FREE MLB Game Every Day This Week

Love MLB but hate paying for it? Yahoo has you covered!

Every day Yahoo Sports is streaming a free MLB game. You will need a browser to make this work, because there is no mobile or streaming player support to my knowledge. It also seems to require a desktop browser so a laptop or desktop computer is needed. (Not sure if desktop browser mode on phones will work.)

Update: We did notice today that you can cast the live stream to any Google Chromecast supported device.

The upcoming games are as follows:

(It even has a nice countdown on the site to the next game.)

The times of the games seem to be at all different times. Some seem to be midday games; others are night games. There seems to be a nice selection of games and times to pick from.

This is not the first time Yahoo has streamed live sports games on its site. In the past it has streamed Sunday Night NFL games. It also streamed NFL games played overseas for free. Hopefully Yahoo keeps teaming up with sports networks to stream games for free. Maybe someday it will also follow Twitter’s example and release an app for streaming devices.

You can find these games on Yahoo’s site here: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/live-video/
