WWE Clash in Paris 2025: What You Need To Know About The Final Peacock PLE

WWE is ending its Peacock run with a le bang as it’s bringing the action to France. WWE Clash in Paris, streaming live from the Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, August 31, will be the company’s final main roster premium live event (PLE) on Peacock before moving to ESPN’s new streaming service. From the return of Roman Reigns to John Cena’s final international match, here’s everything cordcutters need to know.

WWE’s Last Dance with Peacock

This show marks the end of an era. After four years of main roster events on Peacock, Clash in Paris will be WWE’s final PLE on the streamer. Starting with Wrestlepalooza on September 20, all main roster pay-per-views in the U.S. will move to ESPN’s upcoming direct-to-consumer platform. NXT events will remain on Peacock into 2026, but this is your last chance to catch a main roster spectacle without switching services.

Internationally, the event will stream on Netflix in most markets and remain on WWE Network where applicable.

How to Watch Clash in Paris

Date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
Time: 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT (U.S. start time)
Where to Watch (U.S.): Peacock (final main roster PLE)
International Streaming: Netflix (in most regions)
Other Regions: WWE Network (where Netflix is not yet available)

You can sign up for Peacock here. After this event, future WWE main roster PLEs in the U.S. will stream on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer platform starting with Wrestlepalooza on September 20.

A Historic Venue in a Historic City

This is WWE’s epic return to France since fan chants shook the cameras at Backlash 2024. This time, they’re taking over the massive Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre. This is the first WWE pay-per-view ever held in the Paris metropolitan area. It’s also the home of the August 31 episode of Monday Night Raw, giving fans a double dose of action.

Cena’s Last International Match

This isn’t just any card. Clash in Paris features John Cena’s final international PLE match before his retirement at the end of 2025. The 16-time world champion faces Logan Paul in a long-awaited showdown. The feud began with a surprise team-up and loss at Money in the Bank and escalated when Cena issued an open challenge, setting the stage for Sunday’s headliner. From tag team partners to storyline pivots to in-ring foes, Cena and Paul have the potential to exceed all expectations.

Fatal Four-Way for the World Title

In a chaotic mix of alliances and betrayals, Seth Rollins defends his World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal four-way match against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Rollins has rebranded his faction as “The Vision,” with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker backing him, and tensions with Punk and Knight have been escalating for weeks. Expect mayhem.

Reigns Returns to Singles Action

After taking time off following WrestleMania 41, Roman Reigns is back and he’s…uh, looking for his shoes. He faces Bronson Reed in a one-on-one match, months after The Tribal Thief joined The Vision and helped assault the former Tribal Chief. Paul Heyman will be in Reed’s corner, but it’s safe to say the crowd in Paris will be firmly behind Reigns.

Sheamus vs. Rusev in a Donnybrook

Another heated rivalry comes to a head as Sheamus and Rusev settle their brawls in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match. After a series of inconclusive bouts, this stipulation (which essentially means “no rules and lots of furniture”) should give fans a decisive and brutal finish. Best of all? Check the calendar. It’s Rusev Day!

Women’s Intercontinental Title Match

Becky Lynch puts her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Nikki Bella in a match that’s been building since a fiery confrontation post-SummerSlam. Bella returned to challenge Lynch and revive their rivalry, promising to leave Paris with gold.

A Cancelled Title Match

One match fans won’t see is Stephanie Vaquer vs. Naomi for the Women’s World Championship. Naomi relinquished the title due to pregnancy, and WWE has postponed the championship decision to a future event. Vaquer is still expected to appear, but her opponent for the vacant title will be announced later.

Don’t miss this major milestone. A French farewell for Peacock and John Cena. It’s all wrapped around a can’t-miss card featuring legends, titles, and a possible changing of the guard. Get ready for WWE Wrestlepalooza on the ESPN app at the link below.
