You Will Soon Be Able to Stream Netflix on Delta, American, United, & More

Have you ever had to deal with slow Internet when you fly? Now GoGo Internet, the provider that supplies many major US airlines like Delta, American, and United, will be upgrading their networks.

This week Cord Cutters News had an opportunity to talk with GoGo Internet. They gave us a look at what they are doing to improve their Internet and offer access to streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon.

GoGo has started to update all the airlines they are partnered with to a far faster Internet system. Now on select flights you will find Internet 20x faster than the old standard. Every person on the flight will now get 15 Mbps down.

With that new faster Internet, GoGo is lifting their restrictions on streaming services such as Netflix. This means no longer will you need to worry about downloading your shows. Now you can stream them as you fly around the world.

This new system not only offers faster speed but also Internet from gate to gate. No longer will the Wi-Fi turn off during take off and landing.

According to GoGo, all of their supported flights will offer the new faster Internet by 2020. Every day they are working on upgrading planes, and many have already been updated.
