CES officially starts January 6, and press events start today. So let’s take a look at what may be some of the biggest trends of CES 2016.
Over-the-Air TV
We expect to see some big news when it comes to over–the–air TV—from new devices to take advantage of the free content to maybe 4K OTA.
4K TVs
2016 may be the year that 4K TVs just become the norm similar to how buying a TV without HD is almost impossible now. Expect to see 4K content and TVs being a big news story of CES 2016.
Cord-Cutting Devices
Cord cutting is growing, and CES seems to be jumping onboard. You should expect everything from more Android-based TV boxes to a wide range of other cord-cutting devices.
What we are most excited about are what new partnerships will be announced. We expect at least one major cord-cutting announcement at CES even if it is not as big as Sling TV was last year.
