Like many sports-focused networks, beIN Sports has had to regoup after the coronavirus outbreak forced many sports leagues to postpone or outright cancel their seasons. Still, the network is planning a slate of programming to keep its subscribers entertained, including rebroadcasts of classic moments from the 2019-2020 season and a new show called Sports Burst PM, which features a lineup of sports journalists and pundits.
On the schedule for this afternoon is “LaLiga Santander Fest” beginning at 1:00 PM ET. Fans around the world are invited to tune into the first global charity festival to raise funds to acquire materials necessary to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations can be made through the Santander Foundation by visiting the LaLiga Santander Fest website. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of medical supplies in a coordinated effort with Spanish health authorities and the CSD.
