What is AT&T TV Now? You Asked, We Answer

Earlier this week, DIRECTV NOW officially rebranded to become AT&T TV NOW. With a new name and a few changes, we’re here to answer some basic questions about this streaming service.

What is AT&T TV NOW?

AT&T TV NOW is the new name for AT&T’s streaming service. It comes with no annual contract, no satellite needed, and no limits to where and when you can stream content.

With your subscription, you can watch up to 60+ live channels, including local channels for catching news and sports. You’ll also get access to thousands of on-demand titles, including TV series and movies.

How Much Does It Cost?

When you sign up for AT&T TV NOW, you’ll have several options to choose from. Just like DIRECTV NOW, the AT&T TV NOW homepage features these two plans which have the same names and monthly costs as they did before the rebranding.

And, as before, you can scroll down the page to find more packages which include these options:

How Can I Watch?

AT&T TV NOW is compatible with the following devices:

What Channels Will I Get?

This is the channel lineup for the Max package. (You’ll also get live local channels and regional sports networks. The specific channels you’ll receive will depend on your location.)

Can I Record Content?

Yes. AT&T TV NOW has Cloud DVRbeta. Record, fast forward, or rewind at home or on the go. The Cloud DVR function is not available on some channels. You’ll get 20 hours of recording time and content is saved for a max of 30 days.

Can I Use My Account to Log In To TV Everywhere Apps?

AT&T TV NOW is not currently on the list of TV providers for TV Everywhere. That may be the result of the rebranding and name change.
