How to Watch Cable News Channels Without Paying For Cable TV

News and other live events are some of the main reasons people still subscribe to cable TV; however, you don’t have to pay for cable to watch the news. Cord cutters have a ton of great options—both free and paid—to watch all the news they want.

Now this is a very rapidly changing space but this list is up to date as of July 14th 2017.

FOX News & Fox Business

Both Fox News and Fox Business are available on DIRECTV NOW, PlayStation Now, Hulu, and Fubo TV.

CNN

CNN is streamed live on Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, PlayStation Vue, Hulu, and Fubo TV.

MSNBC

MSNBC is streamed live on Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, and Fubo TV.

CNBC

CNBC is streamed live on Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, and DIRECTV NOW.

Weather Channel

The Weather Channel is streamed on DIRECTV NOW and Fubo TV.

A few other apps for free news options. (Many of these are not live but stream replays of news.)
