WarnerBros ‘The Little Things’ Draws 1.4 Million Views on HBO Max

HBO Max had its first WarnerBros release of 2021 on January 29 with The Little Things. The crime thriller premiered on the streaming service subsequent to its theatrical release according to the studio’s plan for 2021.

Data from SambaTV shows the movie pulled in 1.4 million views its opening weekend, with the highest amount of viewership on Saturday with 678K US households tuning in to stream the Denzel Washington film. Sunday garnered 525K more household views.

The Little Things made $4.8 million at the box office, according to The Numbers.com.

The film’s performance is nothing compared to the success of HBO Max’s first WB debut. Wonder Woman 1984 hit theaters on Dec. 25 with 2.2M households streaming on HBO Max over its opening weekend. The latest installment in the DC franchise got 986,000 streams on Christmas Day alone, according to Samba TV.

The list of upcoming WB movies scheduled for a dual streaming/theater release include Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, In The Heights, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Suicide Squad, Reminiscence, Malignant, Dune, The Many Saints of Newark, King Richard, Cry Macho and Matrix 4.
