Walmart’s New Onn $14.99 Google TV Streaming Player vs Its $19.88 Streaming Player – Which One Should You Buy?

This week Walmart quietly released a new $14.99 Google TV powered streaming player. This comes after it released earlier this year a $19.88 Google TV powered streaming player. So, which one should you buy? Is it worth spending the roughly $5 extra to get the more expensive player? Today we are going to look at these two new streaming players.

What is the main difference between these two streaming players?

The more expensive $19.88 Onn streaming player comes in 4K. The less expensive $14.99 streaming player offers HD. This will be the only thing most people will care about.

Are there any other differences?

There are some small differences between these two players. The HD version, for example, only has 1.5GB of RAM while the 4K version has 2GB of RAM.

Beyond that, these Walmart streaming players don’t stand out from each other.

Which player should you buy?

Both streaming players will offer access to the same streaming apps. So, if you can afford it, spend the extra $5 for a streaming player with more RAM. Even if your TV is just HD, it will still work and when you upgrade that TV you won’t need to buy a new streaming player if your new TV has 4K.

We will have a full review of the new Onn Google TV $14.99 streaming stick soon.
