Amazon and Walmart are both working to attract cord cutters to their subscription services, Prime and Walmart+, by including streaming services for free or at discounted prices in addition to other benefits like free shipping and member-only discounts.
With an Amazon Prime subscription, you’ll get access to Amazon Prime Video at no additional cost. The service has a wide selection of shows and movies to stream, Prime Originals, and the ability to subscribe to premium channels like HBO Max and Paramount+ for an additional monthly cost, directly through the Prime Video app. Prime costs $14.99 per month.
Walmart has its own subscription service, Walmart+, with an added perk of an included Paramount+ subscription. The streaming service has over 40,000 episodes, hit movies, live sports, original shows, and more. A Walmart+ subscription costs $12.95 per month.
Below, we’re looking at how the two services stack up when it comes to prices on everyday products, to help you decide which one is worth the subscription cost to get those streaming benefits.
