Vudu Rolls Out HDR-10 Support to Roku, Nvidia Shield, Xbox, & More

Last week Vudu, the streaming service owned by Walmart, rolled out a major service update. They now support 4K HDR-10 on a handful of devices. Now you can enjoy many of your favorite movies in 4K HDR with Vudu on a growing list of devices.

“At Vudu, our goal has always been to bring you the highest quality movie and TV experience across as many devices and platforms as possible. One measure of our commitment to quality is our support of the enhanced dynamic range, brightness, and vibrancy of HDR technology, beginning two years ago with Dolby Vision HDR,” Vudu said in a statement on their website.

Here are the devices we know that now support Vudu 4K HDR-10:

4K Ultra HD + HDR Playback

You may have already received the Vudu app update on the supported apps, but you may need to manually update the Vudu app to access 4K HDR.

With HDR-10 you can enjoy a wider array of colors and darker blacks on your favorite movies and TV shows that offer HDR-10 versions.
