Walmart’s Vudu Streaming Service Adds a New Kids Mode With Powerful Parental Controls

Today Vudu announced that they have added a new Kids Mode that gives parents the ability to have more control over the content their kids see. With these changes, parents will now have more control over what their kids watch. Not only to block some movies and TV shows but to also skip over or mute objectionable content inside movies and TV shows.

“Today, we are giving our customers more to love. With so much content available and more people watching, what if we could also be a streaming service that provides a great, safe viewing environment for families? What if we could provide our customers the flexibility to ensure that content and the Vudu experience are appropriate for everyone in the family to watch, including the youngest of viewers – kids?” Vudu said in a statement on their website.

Here is everything Vudu added today.

Vudu says features are now available across iOS and Android, web, and living room devices like Roku and the Apple TV.
