Vidgo Stops Billing Customers But Lets Them Still Use Their Logins to Watch ESPN, FS1, and More For Free

Vidgo, a live TV streaming service offering ESPN, FS1, and more, has been down for over three months now, raising questions about whether it will shut down completely. Cord Cutters News confirmed with Vidgo that the outage is caused by a vendor dispute but that it is still trying to restore its live TV service.

Vidgo on Wednesday confirmed to Cord Cutters News that it has stopped billing all customers but they can continue to use their Vidgo logins to access ESPN, FS1, and other cable network apps.

Vidgo also confirmed to Cord Cutters News that it will offer $10 monthly credits for the next six months. Here’s the note recently sent to customers about these credits that will be offered once the service returns:

We apologize for the prolonged nature of this outage. Once service is fully restored, in addition to the $10 monthly credit for the next 6 months, we will credit your account for the total number of days the service has been impacted.

For now, that is all we know about the outage. Vidgo costs $69.99 per month, and prior to the outage, let you stream over 110+ live channels, on-demand, and record the event with DVR. Current subscribers will get $10 off a month for the next six months bringing the cost of the service down to $59.99 if the service is restored.

Vidgo has repeatedly said that it does not plan to shut down despite a prolonged outage. The company said it is still working with the vendor to restore service.

We will update the story once the service is back online. If you’re looking to switch, check out our breakdown of other live TV streaming services.
