Vidgo, a New Live TV Streaming Service, Says a Public Beta Is Coming Soon

For some time now Vidgo has said their new live TV streaming service was in the works. Yesterday, they posted saying that in the coming weeks they will have new public beta details.

The included screenshot showing off a few channels including Cheddar TV is likely not their main lineup. It does give us a good idea what their mobile app will look like with a live TV section, on demand, and a Me section. Over the top we see tabs for categories like news, sports, family, and entertainment.

There is a More tab that leaves open the possibility of many other features being included. So, I would not take this screenshot as a full list of everything that will be included.

Vidgo was first announced several years ago to take on Sling TV and PlayStation Vue. Since then multiple other services have launched, and it will be interesting to see how Vidgo will stand out from a very crowded field.

No exact date for the public beta or a full launch have been announced. Hopefully, we will learn more soon.
