First, here is what you need to know about Vidgo:
Channels
Right now, Vidgo has an impressive lineup of channels from the likes of Disney (including ESPN), NFL Network, Discovery, Hallmark Channels, Viacom, and Fox to name a few. Vidgo was clear that they have more channels on the way that will be added before the public launch.
Guide
Vidgo includes a 14-day guide allowing you to jump forward and see what is coming. There is even a calendar view that easily lets you jump to a particular day in the guide.
Supported Devices
Vidgo will be available on Roku, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Web browsers, and iOS.
DVR & TV Everywhere Apps
Vidgo will include TV Everywhere authentication when it launches and a 72-hour look back even if you forgot to DVR a show. DVR support is currently unavailable in the beta we tested but it is coming in the future according to Vidgo.
With the TV Everywhere access you will be able to use third-party apps like ESPN and Disney.

Our First Impressions
We found Vidgo to be on par with other live TV streaming services like YouTube TV, Hulu, and Sling TV when looking at image quality and ease of use.
One of the things that made Vidgo stand out from other services was the social aspects. Vidgo has live chat built-in. You can invite friends and family to join a live chat for a game or show as you watch it. You can create polls or quizzes and even upload photos into the chat as you talk with others about what you are watching.
Right now, Vidgo looks to be up to the challenge of taking on the current crop of TV services like Hulu, fuboTV, and PlayStation Vue.
Vidgo says they plan to expand their beta in the near future as they get ready to publicly launch. Hopefully, we will soon learn more about Vidgo including the full channel lineup.
