Verizon 5G Home Internet Is Getting Better As Verizon Can Now Upgrade Its Network Faster With No Down Time

Today, Verizon announced that its massive multi-year redesign of its network architecture is bringing new network feature enhancements to its service. With this, it will be able to quickly upgrade its network now with no down time. This will offer the ability for Verizon to reduce called drops, improve network resiliency security, and, more importantly, for many cord cutters bring new features to its 5G Home Internet service.

“This has been one of the biggest transformations in our company’s history, and our goal through the entire process has been to introduce the most advanced technologies available while making the changes as transparent as possible for our customers,” said Adam Koeppe, SVP of Network and Technology Planning at Verizon. “With the changes we’ve made to the bedrock of our networks, we are able to very efficiently manage our network and rapidly deploy enhancements for our customers without interrupting their services, leading to greater reliability, enhanced services, and higher customer satisfaction.”

With this move, Verizon will be able to roll out network upgrades, including ones to help its 5G Home Internet service even faster. In the past what could have taken months to do can now be done in hours or days. This means the downtime will be reduced or completely eliminated as it rolls out upgrades.

Verizon 5G Home Internet can help take advantage of these new features, but so will anyone on the Verizon Wireless network.

With Verizon’s 5G Home Internet, you get to pick from two options.  Both plans offer the same speeds, but there are some differences in the bonus you can get.

Verizon’s 5G Home starts at $35, offers a Wi-Fi 6 router, and comes with a 2-year price guarantee.

Verizon’s 5G Home Plus starts at $45 and offers a Wi-Fi 6 router, and comes with a 3-year price guarantee along with Verizon’s unlimited cloud backup. Plus, you can get 12 months of Walmart+ for free, along with $300 off a Verizon Stream TV Soundbar or Pro.
