Vanna White Signs a New Limited Contract for Wheel of Fortune

Vanna White has been the long-time puzzle spinner on Wheel of Fortune for decades. She has also been co-hosting the spin-off series Celebrity Wheel of Fortune alongside Pat Sajak since its debut in January of 2021.

Now entering the fourth season of the series debuting late this fall, Vanna White has renewed her contract as host for the ABC show. Her new contract will net her $100,000 per episode, reports TMZ.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune has celebrities competing to complete the puzzle to win big bucks for their favorite charity. Each show is an hour long and celebrities complete two full games consisting of three rounds each. Previous contestants include Jack Black, Julie Bowen, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jannelle James, Chris Perfetti, Kal Penn, Sasheer Zamata, and RuPaul Charles.

Whether or not she will continue on Wheel of Fortune is yet to be determined. TMZ reports Vanna White entered negotiations asking for 50% of what Pat Sajak makes per episode. His estimated salary is $15 million every year, while hers has stayed at a consistent $3 million over the last 18 seasons. Contract negotiations are paused for the time being while the writers’ and actors’ strikes continue. Her contract expires in 2024, so she still has plenty of time to decide.

Pat Sajak has already announced he will be retiring as host after 41 seasons, though he will stay on as a consultant for the next three years. He will be replaced by Ryan Seacrest, who is contracted through the 45th season.

You can watch Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on ABC, YouTube TV, The Roku Channel, and Hulu. No official release date has been set yet, but the fourth season is expected to be released sometime towards the end of this year depending on the outcome of the strikes.
