How to Use a Sony Gift Cards on PlayStation Vue

I was recently asked if PlayStation Vue had gift cards and at first I was not sure. I quickly found out there are, but they are not labeled as PlayStation Vue gift cards.

Gift cards are a growing market for streaming services. Sling TV, HBO NOW, Netflix, Hulu, and more all offer gift cards. They are a great resource for the estimated 7% of Americans who do not have a traditional bank account. These cards allow them to access streaming services that they would have otherwise struggled to use.

PlayStation Vue has no official gift cards marked as PlayStation Vue, but there are Sony PlayStation Store gift cards you can use.

You will find PlayStation Network gift cards at a wide range of stores from Walmart to Amazon; easy to find and easy to use.

Now the one catch seems to be brand new accounts. If you want to create a brand new account, it seems Sony still wants you to enter a credit card or debit card. From there, you can pay with a gift card.
