UPTV Becomes Cord Cutting Friendly With New Streaming App

Today the cable TV network Up Entertainment launched a new app called UP Faith & Family that lets cord cutters subscribe directly to an expansive library of titles growing weekly, many unique to the service. These include exclusive seasons of the beloved drama Heartland, select fan favorite series and movies from the cable network UP TV such as Bringing Up Bates, and a vast array of other family-friendly movies and series.

The new UP Entertainment app is available on iOS and Android mobile devices, Apple TV, Android TV, and web browsers. Up Entertainment said their app will be available on Xbox One consoles, Roku Players, and Fire TV devices “soon.”

“Since launching in 2015, we have experienced rapid growth on Amazon Channels US and UK, Comcast Xfinity and Google Fiber,” Charley Humbard, chief executive officer, UP Entertainment, said in a statement. “Ensuring consumers have access to our best-of-breed family programming where they want it and when they want it via our new app was a natural move.”

UP Entertainment describes themselves as a family-friendly TV service, that lineups include shows like Heartland and original series from UPTV such as Bringing Up Bates. You can now subscribe to the UPTV apps for $5.99 per month or discounted to $53.99 per year on an annual basis.

If all you want is on-demand access you can also subscribe to their Amazon Channels app for $4.99 to get access to their on-demand library of shows and movies.
