Updated: Looking for an ISP Without a Data Cap? Here Are the ISPs Who Let You Stream All You Want…

Telephone Terminals in Disarray on Phone PoleWe all love to stream a ton of movies and TV shows. Don’t forget about gaming, Facebook, and hundreds of other online services; however, the downside of all of this great online content is the fact that it eats up your data cap quickly.

Check out our Best Internet for Streaming in 2020 page here for a full breakdown.

With some Internet service providers (ISPs) having caps as low as 150GB a month, it is important to understand what cap you have and if you have an option without a cap.

The following is a list of ISPs that do not have a data cap. (To the best of our ability to find them.)

Verizon FiOS

Charter

Optimum

Frontier

Windstream

FairPoint

Cincinnati Bell

Google Fiber

If you have AT&T Internet, you do have other options to avoid a data cap.

Toast.net and other resellers will give you the same AT&T Internet but with US customer service and no data cap, allowing you to stream all you want.

The following ISPs have high data caps:

Cable America 1TB/monthly

Comcast 1TB/monthly

Cox 500GB (some plans)

AT&T 1TB/monthly

A Possible Workaround

Many ISPs offer higher plans that are data cap free, so if you use a lot of data and are stuck with a data cap it may be worth asking if your company has a plan without a data cap. It could be a lot less expensive than paying the $10 per every 50GB over your data cap some ISPs are charging.
