Two Thirds of Americans Plan to Subscribe to Disney+, One Survey Says

A recent survey by High Speed Internet asked 400 Americans about their streaming habits, with a focus on the upcoming Disney+. The survey shows that 2/3 of Americans say they plan to subscribe to Disney+ when the streaming service launches on November 12.

When it comes to choosing the right streaming service among all of the options available, 60% say they would choose Netflix over Disney+ if they had to make the decision to keep just one. That said, 63% say they won’t cancel their current streaming subscription when Disney+ launches.

Why are people choosing Disney? According to the survey, 60% say Marvel and Star Wars content are making them consider Disney+.

It’s not surprisingly to see so many interested in the service. After getting a look at all of the content available to those trying Disney+ out in The Netherlands, we know that we’ll be seeing an incredible content library at launch. That library, combined with the original shows and movies being developed will give subscribers plenty of reasons to sign up.

Disney+ will launch on November 12 and will cost $6.99/month or $69.99/year.
