Today two independent streaming services, MHz Choice and Topic, announced that on April 1, 2024, they will merge together. The two streaming services are both owned by KLMT LLC and will now operate under a single banner of MHz Choice.

In a joint statement posted on their website KLMT LCC said: “Not only will you get all the series you have grown to love from Topic, but you will also have access to the full MHz Choice catalogue, which has a range of series from France to Finland and beyond. With Nordic Noir crime dramas, mysteries, thrillers, and more, MHz Choice gives Topic fans more of what they love.”

Topic focused mostly on thrillers, mysteries, dramas, and docs from around the world. MHz Vhoice focused on mysteries, dramas, and comedies. Brining them together into a single service seems like a natural fit.

MHz Choice charged $7.99 a month or $89.99 a year. Topic charged $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year. It is unknown what the new service will charge after the merger, but according to the post announcing this merger, it looks like Topic will be merging into MHz VHoice.

Topic says subscribers will receive an email with instructions about the merger over to MHz Choice.
