Twitter Starts Streaming Weekly MLB Games For FREE This Week

Last year we learned that Twitter gained rights to live stream MLB games for the 2017 season. Now we have some new details on how this will work.

Starting this Friday Twitter will stream an MLB game for free every Friday. You will need to live out of market to get the game for free, but it is one more way to access MLB games this season. You will be able to watch this game worldwide with only a few international territories blacked out.

The following is the lineup for the rest of April 2017:

GAME DATE VISITOR HOME GAME TIME
Friday, April 7 Chicago Cubs Milwaukee Brewers 8:10 PM ET
Friday, April 14 New York Mets Miami Marlins 7:10 PM ET
Friday, April 21 Boston Red Sox Baltimore Orioles 7:05 PM ET
Friday, April 28 Cincinnati Reds St. Louis Cardinals 8:15 PM ET

*Twitter will live stream the home teams’ feed of the game.

Twitter’s app is available on a wide range of mobile devices and Android TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV. Twitter just finished airing weekly NHL games, and it also has deals to air Pac-12 events for college sports fans.
