Twitter & Gatorade Team Up to Stream High School Basketball

Twitter is continuing their dive into sports, and this time they are teaming up with Gatorade to bring you an early look at the next big basketball talents in the US.

With this partnership Twitter will air #TheDebut, a first-of-its-kind live stream broadcast on Twitter, featuring eight high school basketball games highlighting great matchups that include some of the top players in the country.

#TheDebut will be hosted by NBA 2K TV host Rachel Demita and former NBA players Baron Davis and Nate Robinson. They will provide live commentary and game coverage on-site from all eight games. The live stream will also be accompanied by a Twitter timeline, featuring related real-time conversation to create a unified experience for viewers to watch, Tweet, and view commentary about high school basketball’s top prospects.

The live coverage kicks off tonight with Spartanburg Day School vs. Shannon Forest Christian. This first game will be available globally to Twitter’s logged-in and logged-out audiences at live.twitter.com/TheDebut or via @Gatorade on computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
