Starting June 14 Twitter will launch a weekly MLB show called The Dugout. This weekly show will air every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern.
The Dugout
The Dugout will feature instant analysis and trending reports from the MLB.com studios with live look-ins and highlights across each Wednesday game slate. It will also integrate baseball influencers, MLB broadcasters, and MLB.com’s vast network of beat reporters, columnists, and analysts to help break down what’s trending throughout the league. In addition, The Dugout will include appearances from well-known former players and celebrities with baseball ties to provide viewers with their unique takes on the game.
You will be able to watch The Dugout for free even if you do not have a Twitter account on its website or one of many apps on popular streaming players including Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Android TV.
MLB Games
Not only is Twitter launching a new weekly MLB show, but it is also moving its weekly free MLB game from Friday to Tuesday. This move will start on May 30 and will continue for the rest of the MLB regular season.
Here is the schedule of MLB games after the move to Tuesday. (July’s schedule will be announced at a later date.)
- 5/30: Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox, 8:10 pm EDT
- 6/6: Miami Marlins vs. Chicago Cubs, 8:05 pm EDT
- 6/13: LA Dodgers vs. Cleveland Indians, 7:10 pm EDT
- 6/20: Washington Nationals vs. Miami Marlins, 7:10 pm EDT
- 6/27: NY Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox, 8:10 pm EDT
