Free streaming service Tubi announced a new partnership with TikTok to debut the first live, long-form reunion on the social media platform Wednesday, June 30 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. The hour-long trivia and challenge event will be hosted by TikTok creator Brittany Broski and feature stars from favorite shows from the ’90s and ’00s like Marlon Wayans (“White Chicks”), Paris Hilton (“The Simple Life”), Fran Drescher (“The Nanny”), Joey Lawrence (“Hit List”) and Lacey Chabert (“Party of Five”).
Some of the biggest TikTok creators will also be joining in on the fun, including Suede Brooks, Zach Lugo, Chunkysdead, Tre Clements, Wisdom Kaye and Rodney Lee.
Celebrities are already gearing up for the event by posting challenges reacting to their favorite nostalgic movie kissing scenes, recreating their iconic looks and more, like this one of James Van Der Beek morphing back into his character from “Dawson’s Creek.”
Tubi is also encouraging viewers to get in on the action by using hashtags #AsSceneOnTubi that highlights well-known one-liners from popular Tubi titles, and #TubiTaughtMe when recreating iconic looks from nostalgic shows for a chance to be featured during the reunion special.
