Amazon and Toshiba announced today that Toshiba has launched a new flagship TV – the M550KU LED 4K UHD Smart TV with Fire TV.
“Our goal is to work with world-class TV brands to make entertainment more intuitive and engaging for customers,” said Daniel Rausch, Vice President, Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services. “We’re excited to see Toshiba investing in a flagship TV that combines great picture quality and Fire TV’s best-in-class entertainment with hands-free Alexa.”
With an “emphasis on style and sleekness,” the new model is bezel-less and offers a full screen viewing experience on 55, 65, and 75 inch screens. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision create an immersive sound experience and offer a more realistic image, to instantly upgrade at-home movie watching.
With Fire TV built in, the new Toshiba TVs allow users to control their TV hands-free with Alexa and easily access streaming content. The TVs also offer new features including live view picture-in-picture, allowing users to keep an eye on compatible video doorbells or security camera, and voice controls to find content, launch apps, play music, control smart home devices, and more.
The Toshiba M Series Smart Fire TVs will be available starting early December at Best Buy and Amazon for $799 (55”), $999.99 (65”) and $1199.99 (75”) MSRP.
