TiVo’s New Free Streaming Service TiVo+ is Now Live

Earlier this month TiVo announced a new free streaming service called TiVo+ that would be coming to TiVo DVRs. Starting today you will now find TiVo+ streaming for free on TiVo DVRs. This new service gives TiVo owners access to thousands of free shows, movies, and videos.

XUMO, Jukin Media and other top publishers to make 26 channels available at launch: Adventure Sports Network, AllTime, Ameba, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Baeble Music, BatteryPOP, Complex, FailArmy, FilmRise Classic TV, FilmRise Family, FilmRise Free Movies, Food52, Football Daily, Hell’s Kitchen | Kitchen Nightmares, Journy, Kid Genius, NatureVision, Outside TV+, People Are Awesome, PowerNation, Puddle Jumper, The Asylum, The Pet Collective, The Preview Channel, TMZ and Unsolved Mysteries.

“With TiVo+, we’ve made it easy for users to watch on their own terms, bringing live streaming channels, like Hell’s Kitchen, Unsolved Mysteries and other favorites, thousands of movies, and TV shows into an app-free environment. All delivered through the TiVo experience that millions of people around the world already know and love. TiVo+ makes entertainment easy to find and watch, providing a carefully curated selection of streaming entertainment seamlessly delivered alongside traditional television.” Said Dave Shull President and CEO of TiVo.

TiVo owners will now find the new TiVo+ section listed inside their TiVo guide. Just scroll down till you see the TiVo+ logo to access the free movies and TV shows.

Tivo went on to say that this is just one of several exciting new offerings coming from TiVo. “In the coming months, we’ll be rolling out more innovative products and service, with the goal of more than doubling the 22 million households we already proudly serve.” Tivo’s President and CEO Dave Shull said in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News.

For now, we will have to wait and see what TiVo announces next.
