TiVo Introduces Match Scores to Help TiVo Users Choose a Streaming Service

TiVo wants to help you decide which streaming services are the best fit for you. Today, the company launched TiVo Match Scores, a tool to help TiVo Stream users identify the streaming service with the most shows and movies they think you’d enjoy.

According to TiVo, the average American is subscribed to almost 7 different video services. With so many services to choose from, many cord cutters are overwhelmed by the options. It can be time consuming to comb through all the services available to find the titles you want to watch, decide if you need a live TV service or if on-demand will do, and keep track of the service you’ve subscribed to.

TiVo Match Scores are personalized ratings of each service on a scale of 1 to 100, based on an algorithm that looks at the shows and movies you engage with on TiVo Stream. A higher score means that service is likely to be a good pick for you.

To get started, go to My Services on your TiVo menu. Scroll through the services to see your TiVo Match Score for each. The feature will roll out over the next few days and will be available to all TiVo Stream users by the end of the week.
