Tip of the Day: How to Easily Save Money with the Chrome Extension Honey

A young woman is sitting in her kitchen and is loking at her receipts at home while using a smart phoneWant to save money without needing to do a lot of work? You may want to check out Honey. A few years ago a family member posted about a Chrome add-on called Honey. Honey allows you to easily find coupons for everything from pizza to shoes. It also helps you find the best price on Amazon.

According to the Honey description, to save money you just have to “click on the Honey button during checkout and Honey will automatically apply coupon codes to your shopping cart.”

I have had great success with the Honey add-on. While the codes don’t always work, they do more than you would think. For example, this week my family ordered pizza from Papa Johns. At checkout I clicked the Honey button and within a minute it found a coupon code for my order and saved us over $8. (Hey, that’s a free month of Hulu or Disney+.)

Honey has not asked us to do a post and no one is paying us for this. (I know people will ask that.) I just find this add-on helpful in my personal life and want to share it with my readers.

You can add Honey to your Chrome browser HERE.
