Three New Over-the-Air TV Networks Recently Launched

If you are a fan of 100% free TV, we have good news for you. The Sinclair Group recently announced that it has launched its third new live TV network, Charge!

So here are the three new over-the-air TV networks that have hit the air waves in 2017.

TBD TV

The TBD TV channel is one of the few new OTA channels that focuses on original content.

Some early programs on TBD’s schedule include the following:

Light TV

On December 22, 2016, Light TV—founded by husband-and-wife team of Mark Burnett and Roma Downey—launched its family-friendly TV station. You likely remember Roma Downey as the actress who starred in “Touched by an Angel” as the angel Monica.

Mark Burnett and Roma Downey have more recently produced “The Bible” on the History Channel. Now they have turned their focus to Light TV.

Light TV will carry a wide range of programs from game shows such as “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” to dramas such as “Heartland,” a widely popular Canadian drama that has aired for 10 seasons in Canada.

CHARGE!

Charge! launched on February 28, 2017, and is an action-adventure based free over-the-air TV network with access to the MGM Television and film library.

Charge! is already available, or soon will be, on 56 stations around the United States.

Remember to Rescan!

If you have not recently rescanned for new channels this may be a good time to do so. You never know if you may find a new channel on your dial.
