Have you heard of Pluto TV .m3u? This Illegal IPTV service tried to use the Pluto TV name and logo to grow this service. Now the Motion Picture Association has filed a DMCA takedown request to shut down this illegal IPTV streaming service that used the Pluto TV name, according to TorrentFreak.

Pluto TV is a legal streaming service owned by Paramount. It offers a wide range of ad-supported programming. Some of this is owned by Paramount, other content comes from 3rd parties that Pluto TV licensed it from.

Pluto TV .m3u was a playlist IPTV service you could download to watch movies and TV shows for free according to the MPA’s DMCA takedown. It even used the Pluto TV logo to make it look like it was a legal way to stream content.

Some .m3u playlists do just point to legal streams from Pluto TV It seems that this one though was offering content not licensed or paid for leading to the DMCA takedown requests.

As alwasy becareful about using 3rd party apps and streaming services the claim to give you access to everything that Pluto TV or Netflix has to offer for example. Increaslingly they have been using legal service names to offer pirated content.
