“The Silence of the Lambs” Celebrates 30 Years Today: Buy it On Sale Now

Today is the 30th anniversary of the theatrical debut of “The Silence of the Lambs” and FandangoNOW and Vudu are showing some love to fans of the film. 

To celebrate the anniversary of the film’s release, FandangoNOW and Vudu have the film on sale for $7.99 in 4K UHD and HD (normally $13.99.) You can also buy a two film bundle with “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Hannibal” for just $9.99.

In “The Silence of the Lambs,” an FBI trainee is assigned by her superior to interview an imprisoned, cannibalistic psychopath, Hannibal “the Cannibal” Lecter, in the hope that he may help uncover the identity of an elusive serial killer.

Released on February 14, 1991, the film had a budget of $19 million and grossed $272.7 million, making it the fifth highest grossing film of the year.
