The Roku Channel is bringing back two Roku Originals for second seasons.
Punk’d will return for a second season on December 10th. The series will be hosted by Chance the Rapper. Look for some of your favorite celebs on the new season including Tiffany Haddish, Adam Devine, Lil Nas X, Liza Koshy, Odell Beckham Jr., Teyana Taylor, Shay Mitchell, Anitta, Miguel, Karrueche Tran and Kate Upton.
Dishmantled, from the creator of Chopped, is coming back on December 31st. The cooking competition series is hosted by Tituss Burgess. “Each episode starts with the cannon-blasting of a mystery food dish into the faces of two blindfolded chefs. They’ll use their culinary prowess to identify the exploded dish and then race against the clock to recreate it. Whichever chef comes closest to the original dish wins a cash prize,” Roku says.
“This latest slate of Roku Originals brings back beloved series “Punk’d” and “Dishmantled” for second seasons,” said Brian Tannenbaum, Roku’s Head of Alternative Originals. “The response we’ve seen from audiences continues to be overwhelming, and we cannot wait to give streamers more episodes of comedic fun to devour.”
The Roku Channel has over 80,000 free movies and TV shows and 200 live linear channels. In addition to Roku devices, The Roku Channel is available on Web, the Roku mobile app, Amazon Fire TV and select Samsung TVs and can be accessed internationally in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
