The Roku Channel Adds Circle Network

Circle Network, the home of all things country, announced today that the network will now be available for free on The Roku Channel. The channel will feature the same original programming currently on the OTA channel.

“Every day, our goal is to make The Roku Channel experience even better for our users,” said Ashley Hovey, Director of AVOD Growth, Roku. “With the launch of Circle, we’re bringing great, free ad-supported country music and lifestyle content to our users. We’re very excited to help grow Circle’s audience with The Roku Channel’s very engaged users.”

Circle Network launched in January with a mix of licensed and original content. Programming includes Opry Live, a live broadcast of Saturday night Grand Ole Opry shows along with originals like Circle Sessions, Phil Vassar’s Songs from the Cellar, Hee Haw, Upstream with Elizabeth Cook, Authentic America, The Dailey & Vincent Show, The Southern Weekend, Circle’s Classic Westerns Night, and more.

“When we created Circle, we set out to tell stories that country fans wanted to know but that weren’t being told,” said Drew Reifenberger, Circle Network’s general manager. “The early response we have received from our audience on linear TV and cable has been tremendous, and adding these streaming partners represents a major step forward for us as we make this content available to millions of additional fans.”

Along with The Roku Channel, Circle Network will now be available on Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO SmartCast and XUMO.
