Recently The Roku Channel today quietly rolled out 18 new channels that offer access to local news and entertainment from around the United States.
This all comes as Roku announced plans to offer live local news from over 350 stations.
Here are the entertainment channels The Roku Channel added today:

- Local-ish
- Corazon
- Motor Trend
- Transformer
- Power Rangers
- Vix Jajaja
- Vix Villanovons da Novela
- Dragverse Universe
- Her Sphere

- Local News: Roku’s Live TV experience boasts 350+ free linear TV streaming channels across a variety of genres. With the launch of Local News, users can watch live news channels personalized by location, or stream channels from major cities across the U.S. Plus, in an exciting step forward, news recommendations are now powered by AI, making them smarter than ever and ensuring a curated experience within the Live TV Zone. Roku users can search for “local news” using either Roku Search or Roku Voice or visit the Live TV Zone on their Roku Home Screen Menu.

The Roku Channel is available on a wide range of devices, including mobile devices, Fire TVs, and more.
That is just some of the new content added to The Roku Channel. Recently Roku and the WWE announced a new docuseries for The Roku Channel that will follow a group of men and women competing to earn a spot as a WWE Superstar.
The Roku Channel also recently added the NFL Channel that includes content from the NFL and its NFL Films team. This deal will bring new content from NFL Films and NFL Media to The Roku Channel. With the NFL Channel, you will find season recaps, documentaries, classic games, and more. This will also include past seasons of Hard Knocks and NFL 100 Plays.
