The OTA Network Retro TV Has Launched Is Now Available On 2 New Stations in Oregon

Retro TV, one of the first digital broadcast networks ever, has added Portland, Oregon to its growing list of stations. roster. With this news two stations in the Portland Oregon area will now offer Retro TV. This comes as last year Retro TV expanded to KSDY-TV in San Diego, California, on channel 50.0, along with other locations already available in Charleston, South Carolina, Washington, D.C., Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and Des Moines, Iowa. 

The news of this new channel comes after a year of exceptional growth for Retro TV, who added over 14.4 million households to their reach with 10 additional markets in 2022. Along with their current locations listed above, the network expects additional launches of new locations in the coming weeks. 

“Everyone at Retro TV and our original production team is thrilled any time we can participate in community outreach and make a real difference in our viewers’ lives,” shares Joel Wertman, president of the network and creator of Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre. “We’d especially like to thank our partners at the American Red Cross and everybody who Bled for Drac as we celebrate Retro TV’s launch in Portland.”

Retro TV, launched in 2005, was one of the first digital broadcast networks to come to life. Available across the United States, Retro TV celebrates the best in classic television with all of your beloved. Programming includes great hits like classic Doctor Who, Life with Betty starring Betty White, The Mickey Rooney Show, Naked City, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Lucy Show, The Ray Bradbury Theater, 21 Jump Street, and many more. The network is also the exclusive home to the iconic soap opera The Doctors, and in 2021 added original series Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre.

It’s an exciting time for Retro TV, as their expansion is allowing them to grow from market to market, household to household.
