The NFL Is Cutting The Number of Commercial Breaks During The Super Bowl

The imaginary stadium is modelled and rendered.Recently we learned that FOX had planned to cut the number of commercial breaks during its next Super Bowl game. Now the NFL has announced that as a league they are capping the number of commercial breaks per quarter to four down from five in recent years. This will result in at least 4 fewer ad breaks during the Super Bowl.

According to Fox, they cut the number of commercial breaks, but they will be longer. Overall the number of ads will be the same but there won’t be as many interruptions in the game.

The question now is how will football fans respond to longer commercial breaks but fewer of them. Will this be a success as fans head to the kitchen for food? Or will this upset fans? For now we will have to wait and see what this looks like during next years Super Bowl.
