The New Live TV Service Vidgo Announces Plans to Launch in The “Coming Weeks” & Teams Up With Kiswe Mobile

Late last year, the long-awaited Vidgo live TV streaming service launched with several international packages. Today Vidgo announced plans to launch “skinny bundles of live English and Spanish programming in the coming weeks.” As part of this plan to launch soon, Vidgo also announced a partnership with Kiswe Mobile to provide a social-video platform and strategic resources to help Vidgo.

“Vidgo’s unique customer acquisition model gives them a large physical presence in mobile storefronts and with prepaid customers in nearly every community in the United States,” said Mike Schabel, Kiswe Mobile’s CEO. “Their go to market strategy and content rights fit nicely with our vision to provide consumers with an engaging and social mobile video experience centered around live sports.”

“We share Kiswe’s vision to bring friends and fans together to watch live sports and television and believe strongly it will revolutionize the way people watch video” said Shane Cannon, Vidgo CEO. “Bringing people together to watch video on mobile devices is an innovative approach that will add value to Vidgo subscribers.”

According to Vidgo, they plan to offer a social streaming experience of Sports, Entertainment, Family, and Latino programming. No exact date has been announced yet but Vidgo’s CEO Shane Cannon did announce that they plan to launch in the summer of 2019 back at the Pay-TV show in May 2019.
