‘The Mandalorian’ Has Been No.1 on Parrot Analytics Streaming Chart for 8 Weeks Straight

As everyone knows, Disney has a major hit on its hands with its original series The Mandalorian. The Star Wars spinoff currently sits at the top of Parrot Analytics list of digital originals again for the week ending Dec. 12, making it No.1 for eight weeks in a row. It had 125.3 times the demand of an average TV series for the week and completed its sixth week at the top of Parrot’s list of all TV shows.

Hulu’s animated reboot of Animaniacs ranked No.2 on the chart with 53 times the average demand. The new series sees the return of the Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and their sister Dot, all voiced by their original voice actors.

Given the success of The Mandalorian, it’s no surprise the top streaming series has influenced other streaming habits making it on this chart. Star Wars: The Clone Wars saw a rise in expressions giving it 51.2 times the average demand, landing it in third place.

While Disney streaming services hold all the top 3 shows on the list, Netflix takes the spots 4, 5, and 6 with The Crown, Stranger Things, and Cobra Kai, the Karate Kid spin-off which gained back a little bit of momentum after the trailer for season 3 dropped.
