The Live TV Streaming Service Vidgo Launches on Android TV Devices

Late last year, the long-awaited Vidgo live TV streaming service launched with several international packages. This week, Vidgo started to take beta testers for a new English-based package. Vidgo is available on iOS, Android, and Web with Roku and Apple TV support coming in the following weeks.

Now Vidgo has officially launched on its second major streaming platform with support for Android TV. This comes a few weeks after Vidgo launched on the Fire TV back in January. Right now Vidgo supports iOS, Android, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and web browsers. According to Vidgo Roku, Apple TV, and Chromecast support is coming soon.

This comes a few week after Vidgo started to ask for English beta testers for their new English-based package.

On the Vidgo Facebook page, they have started to ask for beta testers for a new English package meant to take on services like Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW.

Here is what Vidgo posted on their Facebook page:

We are looking for Beta testers for our upcoming English package. Please message us if you would like to participate in Beta for iOS, Android, or Web browser. In the coming weeks we will need beta testers for Roku, Amazon, and Apple TV. Please indicate which platform you use. Once you have downloaded the Vidgo app be sure and rate us in the App Store or on Google Play!

For now, Vidgo is not accepting more beta testers but you may want to keep an eye on their social media for future opportunities to get in on the beta.
