The Great American Media Channel is Being Rebranded on Frndly TV & Philo

Great American Media is a cable network that focuses on faith-based programming. Now it going to change its name to better reflect that. The channel is available to cord cutters on Frndly TV and Philo and will now be known as Great American Faith and Living, according to Deadline. On this channel, you will find shows like Going RV, Growing Up Gatorm and Southern Fried Everything.

In June, Great American Media and Pure Flix merged into one platform. The faith and family streaming service now has a new name and but is sticking to its family-friendly promise.

In September, the service was rebranded to be called Great American Pure Flix, with subscribers able to access more titles focused on family-friendly films and series. It serves as a streaming companion to Great American Family, the fastest-growing cable network for the past ten months.

“Great American Pure Flix is committed to bringing viewers quality movies and programs that celebrate faith, family, and hometown values,” the company said. “You can stream clean anytime, anywhere.”

Last month, Great American Pure Flix is adding several new films starting on September 15 with Divine Influencer starring Lara Silva (The Chosen) and directed by Shari Rigby. On September 30, Harvest Homecoming, starring Trevor Donovan and Jessica Lowndes, premieres on Great American Family, followed by a streaming debut on October 6. A new Western directed by Aaron Burns (Legacy Peak) will air on October 13, starring Lucas Black and Sarah Drew.

“Great American Pure Flix fits seamlessly with the Great American Media family,” said Bill Abbott, president and chief executive officer of Great American Media. “Our mission is to provide families with quality entertainment that celebrates faith, family, and hometown values wherever and however they enjoy watching.”
