Update: Stadium sent Cord Cutters News the following statement about this change: “We never stopped distributing to Roku and will continue to be live on the platform via our partnership with the Roku Channel. While our app on Roku is down, Stadium can still be accessed on Roku via the Roku Channel. Roku is one of our most important partnerships, specifically on The Roku Channel. As Stadium continues to evolve and consumer viewing habits change, it became clear The Roku Channel was the best distribution point for Stadium on the Roku platform. Additionally, we are working on an update that will allow Stadium to configure the message on the app to redirect users to The Roku Channel.”
We have reached out to Sinclair to learn more about why Stadium on Roku shut down and will post updates as we learn more.
