The Film Detective is Airing a ‘Life with Elizabeth’ Marathon in Honor of Betty White Today

The Film Detective is honoring Betty White on what would have been her 100th birthday with a 24-hour marathon of her first sitcom, Life with Elizabeth, which ran from 1953 through 1955.

Remembered as the “Queen of Television,” White was known for her starring roles on The Golden Girls (1985-1992), The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977), and Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015). Her life is being celebrated with numerous TV marathons highlighting some of her most well-known roles.
